I'm mom to six grown kids and "Murr" to two grandchildren, with a third on the way. I hold a master's degree in education and in missional theology, and for the last ten years I've had the honor of serving on staff at a church in Arizona.
That season taught me how much people are longing for real community — a place to be encouraged, not just informed; nourished, not just busy. Here's what I want you to know first: you don't have to have it all together to be here. Anyone is welcome at this table, exactly as you are.
TEND stands for Transformed, Encouraged, Nourished, and Discipled — because that's what I hope you find here. This isn't about doing more or being more. It's about tending well — to your soul, your relationships, your family — with a community around you. I'm so glad you're here. Pull up a chair.
